Candle Care & Safety

Our candles are designed to bring beauty and calm into your home. To ensure the best experience — and safe enjoyment — please follow these care tips:

First Burn

• Allow the candle to burn until the melted wax reaches the edges of the vessel (about 2–3 hours). This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn.

Wick Care

• Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use to prevent soot and excessive flame.
• Remove any debris from the wax pool before lighting.

Burning Guidelines

• Burn candles on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, and children.
• Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Always keep candles within sight while lit.

Extinguishing

• Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame when possible — blowing out can cause hot wax to splatter.
• Allow wax to cool completely before relighting.

Vessel & Variations

• Our concrete vessels are handmade and may show natural variations in color and texture — this adds to their unique character.
• Once finished, vessels can be repurposed or refilled using our refill tins.

Safety Reminder

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains.
